The Moor Centre is an established retail precinct in Brierley Hill that went to market at £3m - and it soon found a buyer.

Maritime’s expert team tracked the deal for eight months while the shopping centre was under offer, and thanks to regular communication with the agent, became aware that it had fallen through.

Recognising our window of opportunity, we got in touch and quickly began discussions. 

Our market advantage and reputation for delivery meant that we were able to negotiate a discount, purchasing the Moor Centre for £2.9m in a cash deal including rental and service charge top-ups.

The transaction was completed in just three weeks, underlining our ability to respond rapidly when opportunities arise.

Situated at the heart of Brierley Hill, and just 500m from the Midlands’ largest regional shopping centre, the fully let five-acre site has a sustainable mix of national and regional retailers and produces a 12% return.

Plus, with a substantial car park to the rear, residential development is a future opportunity.
